1 pound 85% lean ground beef
1 cup Rice River Farms Rice, cooked
1/4 cup water
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1 garlic clove, minced
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper

Chunky Italian Sauce (directions below)

Prepare rice according to package directions. Heat oven to 450 degrees. In medium bowl, combine all ingredients; mix well. Shape into 1 1/2 inch meatballs. Place in a 15x10x1 inch baking pan. Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until browned and no longer pink inside.

1-6 ounce can tomato paste
1/2 cup dry red wine or water
1/2 cup sliced black olives
1-4 ounce can slice mushrooms, drained.
1/4 can Italian-style stewed tomatoes, slightly chopped

Combine ingredients in saucepan; blend well. Cook until mixture simmers. Cook 15 minutes. Stir in meatballs.
