Fish is almost always seen as a dinner menu item. With all the nutrients it packs and its huge flavour profile, it’s also great for lunch! One of our easiest and favourite ways to enjoy fish, is with this delicious baked pickerel recipe. It has a lot of flavour and only requires a few ingredients.
Baked Pickerel Recipe
Ingredients:
- Pickerel Fillets
- 3 tablespoons of butter
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/2 lemon, juiced
- 1/4 cup water
Preparation and Directions:
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Wash, and clean fish fillet before seasoning. Place in a baking dish and dot with butter. Season with salt and pepper. Add lemon juice and water, bake for about 20 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork. Serve with lemon wedges.
