125 ml (1/2 cup) Du Bois Wild Rice
125 ml (1/2 cup) brown sugar
125 ml (1/2 cup) chopped dates
125 ml (1/2 cup) chopped nuts

Wash wild rice thoroughly.  Boil wild rice using 500 ml (2 cups) water.  Cover and simmer for 45 minutes or until tender.  Uncover, fluff with a fork and simmer five minutes more.  Drain any excess liquid.  Cool.  Mix all ingredients, serve with fruit, whipping cream or over ice cream.
