Introduce your family and friends to the time-honoured tradition of Cedar Plank grilling! Plank grilling works great for salmon, ribs, beef, vegetables and more…The secret to success is to keep the heat and smoke circulating inside. Don’t open the lid too often! Experiment with rubs and marinades – teriyaki is delicious on salmon topped with lemon slices or try vinaigrette on vegetables. Remember veggies are a great compliment to any meal.

Three Easy Steps:

  1. SOAK – submerge plank in water for 30 minutes
  2. SMOKE – place seasoned food on the pre-soaked plank in preheated gas or charcoal grill over medium heat, 350-360 degrees and close the lid. Always cook over indirect heat. Have a spray water bottle handy to put out flare-ups. Grill according to recipe.
  3. SAVOUR – carefully remove the hot plank from the grill. Place on a serving platter and present with pride!
