Ingredients:
4-8 pound pork butt
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
2 teaspoons red chilli powder
1 teaspoon black pepper
4 cups (2 cans) Dr.Pepper soda
3 cups Village Grocer Jack Daniels BBQ Sauce
1/2 cup Jack Daniels Whiskey (optional)

Method:
Combine garlic, chilli and onion powders along with the pepper in a small bowl. Mix well. Remove the string from the pork butt and cut into 3-4 large pieces. Massage spice mix into pork and place in crock pot. Pour Dr.Pepper over pork. Cook on high for 5-7 hours, until pork is tender and pulls apart easily. Drain completely and shred pork using two forks. Add whisky(optional) and 3 cups of Village Grocer Jack Daniels BBQ Sauce. Stir well to combine. Cook on low for 1 additional hour. Serve on toasted bun with pickle slices or our coleslaw…and more of our Jack Daniels BBQ Sauce!
