This super quick summer salad has lots of crunch and is a crowd favourite at any BBQ.


3/4 cup mayonnaise

1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

2 tablespoons lime juice

2 tablespoons maple syrup

2 teaspoons sesame oil

1/4 cup tahini

1/3 cup Village Grocer candied pecans

1/2 head of purple cabbage, thinly sliced

3 cups of thinly sliced baby bok choy

2 carrots, peeled and grated

1 small jalapeno chile, seeded

1 ripe mango, peeled pitted and sliced

salt and pepper to taste



Add dressing ingredients to a bowl and blend or whisk till combined. Refrigerate until ready to use. Slice cabbage and bok choy and add to a mixing bowl. Grate carrots and chop jalapeno and add to the bowl. Toss until combined. Prepared the mango and gently toss. Season with salt and pepper. Add dressing to the cabbage mixture and stir to combine. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve. Top with pecans.
