- Colossal size shrimps (3-4 per person)
- 1 whole lemon, juiced and additional for presentation
- olive oil (about ½ cup, depending on number of shrimps)
- hot sauce (optional)
- salt and pepper
Combine juice of one lemon, olive oil, a splash of hot sauce (more if you like the heat), and salt and pepper to taste. Make sure there is enough of the liquid marinade for the shrimp to “swim in”. Add shrimp to marinade and let stand for 30 minutes. Heat grill to 350°F. After reaching required temperature place shrimps shell side down, side by side flat on the grill. As you place the shrimps on the grill, lots of smoke should form. When the smoke and flames settle, it is time to flip. Repeat the process for the alternate side. After both sides have been cooked through, remove from heat and plate with fresh lemon slices and additional hot sauce for added flavour. We serve these large beauties 3-4 on a plate and allow our guests to remove the shell part themselves. Enjoy!
