1½ cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp grated nutmeg
¼ tsp baking soda
2/3 cup granulated sugar
½ cup butter, softened
1 egg
2 large bananas, ripened

In bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, nutmeg and baking soda.
In separate bowl, beat together the sugar and softened butter; beat in egg, then mash the ripe bananas.  Stir in flour mixture just until combined.

Bake in pre-heated oven at 350 degree F. for 50 to 60 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.  Cool completely.
