As part of Karen and Linda’s Paella cooking class, a refreshing Sangria is served. This recipe is sure to please with fresh fruit…perfect for summer.

1 bottle of your favourite white wine
1/2 cup grand Marnier
1/2 liter of ginger ale
1/2 cup (or less) of sugar depending on how sweet you prefer your Sangria
3 sliced fresh peaches
1 sliced orange
1/2 cup fresh strawberries
1/2 cup blueberries

Pour wine and Grand Manier into a pitcher and add sliced peach, orange blueberries and strawberries. Next add sugar and stir gently. Chill mixture for at least one hour. Add ginger ale or club soda just before serving. If you would like to serve your Sangria right away, use chilled white wine and ginger ale and serve over lots of ice.
