A little update for today! I am excited about a few things; firstly, we have a really nice display of beautiful Organic Royal Gala Apples in the produce section today for ½ price, and that deal will continue till they’re gone. Secondly, I just met with one of my old-time market buddies who will be bringing a new shipment of my favourite dry-cured black olives, as well as an Apple Balsamic Vinegar and quite a few nice Italian Artisanal products; all this on Monday. Lastly, the large pumpkin has arrived, and all going well it will be out for the kids to guess the weight to win it……..tomorrow.

Also, it’s All Star week. That means all weekend we are celebrating the Village Grocer ‘All Star’ Products. On Friday, be sure to try the Fish and Chips in the cafe for only 8.99! Our on Saturday the cafe will be serving tortellini stuffed with bacon and mushrooms, or a warm stuffed pork loin sandwich for only 6.99! All around the store we’ll have other favourite products such as Guiness sausages, mapple sugar ham nuggets, or Doreen’s original chicken pie. And don’t forget to check out our bakery where lemon meringue pie is on sale for 1/3 off, and our famous banana bread is half off!
