Join us this Saturday, July 13th as we celebrate our Second Anniversary at our new 16th Avenue location. We will be having exciting activities, demos and sampling stations happening throughout the store. The following will help you to see all of our events we have planned for Saturday.
Kids Cupcake Decorating Time: 10:00 am – 12 noon Location: Cooking Studio, 2nd Floor
Bring the kids on up to the kitchen studio to enjoy some cupcake decorating. Our bakery department will be preparing the bases for your kids to be creative and have a sweet treat.
Al Fresco Pasta Demo Time: 11:30 am – 2:00 pm Location: Cooking Studio, 2nd Floor
Hungry for inspiration? Linda and Victoria of the Queenbridge Mill have transformed the Cooking Studio to celebrate La Bella Vita using colour and a few key elements. Join Master Chef Kulam as he creates an Italian alfresco dining experience, preparing delicious pasta dishes using fresh pasta from our friends at Multi Pasta. Anne, of Appetizers and More, will also be present sampling her ready-made nibbles which make summer entertaining deliciously easy.
Outdoor BBQ Time: 11:00 am – 3:00 pm Location: Outside The Village Grocer
Evan and his Hockey with Heart buddies (and others) will be grilling up some delicious BBQ favorites. This is a charity event, so enjoy! We will be serving prime rib burgers, sausages, ballpark hotdogs and corn on the cob with all the fixings. There will also be a lemonade stand, serving our refreshing, homemade lemonade.
