It is very gratifying to see the store so busy over the Thanksgiving Holiday, and behind the scenes, all the people preparing all the items that go into a great Thanksgiving occasion. We have a lot to be thankful for, both on a personal level and at our store. Allow me to take this moment to say thanks for all of your support over these many years. Thank You! So with that said… we’ve got everything to help you create your Ultimate Thanksgiving Feast! Here is a list of the few essential must have items for this Thanksgiving!

Fresh Free Range Turkey
Available at our Meat Department! Best to order early!

Our Homemade Sage and Onion Stuffing
2 lb. bag. Gluten free available as well!

Doreen’s Brandied Cranberry Sauce
We use our local berries, some orange zest, a dollop of brandy (maybe more), and
it’s available in 1 lb tubs either at the meat counter or in our refrigeration
unit.

Homemade Turkey Gravy
No shortcut here – we cook down the bones and make this the long way. One thing
that I suggest is that your strain your pan for juices and add them to this. Available
in 1 lb or 2 lb tubs, from the freezer. Gluten free gravy available!

Turnip Puffs, Sweet Potato Puffs, Garlic Mashed Potatoes
Available in small or medium, and in some cases the family size as well. Did I mention
Scalloped Potatoes?

Cheese Apples
In honour of Thanksgiving, Grethe has rolled up her sleeves (actually, they are
always rolled up) and started making her now famous Cheese Apples…they look good,
but taste even better.

Cooked Vegetables
Available in our deli from now ’till Thanksgiving…and likely beyond

Pumpkins
From very small to very large…and even white…will be available. As well as an
assortment of local squash and gourds – lots of them!

There are many fall floral arrangements to choose from.
Both large and small and in many colours!

And don’t forget about the fresh produce.
With our new crop of apples, squash and other root vegetables!

Set a Beautiful Tablescape
Karen and Linda have decked out our housewares area with what you’ll need for the
season. From candles to cookware, napkins and tablecloths
