Most of you regulars would know our cashier Nushee. She’s been a part of the Village Grocer family for 27 years, as long as we’ve been in business! This morning I took note of her Village Grocer shirt; it was pink, wearing a bit thin, and a bit frayed around the edges. Most of you would notice that the other cashiers, and the other staff, all wear green shirts. We’ve had green ones for ten years, so I asked if she’d like a new one. “NO WAY”, was her answer, “this is my fave and I’ve had it for 24 years!”
So………..just so you know, it’s not me cutting corners!
