Our Hockey with Heart Team is on a breakaway with our Christmas Food Drive. We will be doing our usual street walks beginning the first weekend of December. We’ll be by on Saturday to leave a bag and a note, and then we’ll return on Sunday to pick it up. What we’re looking for is either food, new unwrapped toys or full bags of cash! The food is delivered to the Food Bank and the Alliance Church to help out families in need, and the cash funds Christmas Family Dinner Hampers for those less fortunate than us. If you miss our vans or the fire truck, you can bring the loot to our store, and we’ll look after it from there. With your kind help, as in the past, we intend to feed a lot of folk over the holidays. Take a look below to find out when we will be in your neighborhood. If our collection doesn’t reach your street, please feel free to  drop off any donations at The Village Grocer, along with Crosby Arena and Angus Glen Arena after December 1st.
