We begin the Ultimate Apple Pie Contest here at The Village Grocer very shortly. We invite everyone to participate in this event! You have until 5:00 pm on Wednesday September 18, 2013 to drop off a homemade apple pie along with the entry form (available online or in-store) and the recipe. A panel of Village Grocer Judges will determine the top 3 entries based on different criteria such as Visual Appeal, Taste, Crust, Filling..and so on. These top 3 entries will then be asked to re-create their masterpieces on Saturday September 21st in The Village Grocer’s Cooking Studio. We have some great prizes to be awarded for the best pies.
