Today we had our Royal Tea Party held in our Royal Cafe! It was a huge success. We started off with plenty of tea for our guests along with mini scones and delicious quiches.  We also had english breakfast sausage rolls and a hand full of sandwiches including egg salad, cream cheese & cucumber, smoked salmon cream cheese & dill, and roast beef & horseradish. And for dessert, trays of lemon curd tarts, petit fours, mini squares, chocolate covered strawberries and a delicious strawberry shortcake made by our bakery department with a special touch of the British flag on top. It looked beautiful!

Linda and Karen worked hard to prepared the tables for a real Royal Tea effect filled with lots of red and blue. From the seating arrangements, to the napkins and even the delicate tea cups made the table sparkle. Our cafe staff were excited to be apart of this lovely event by serving and preparing to delicious finger sandwiches.
