Over the past 3 weeks, once again the 2014 Street Walk Food and Funds was another resounding success providing provisions for our 2 food bank partners, the Alliance Church Food Bank and the Markham Food Bank. Last weekend our Alliance Church partner along with some of you delivered Christmas dinners to over 200 Markham families whose circumstances require some help. Funding for those 200+ dinners was provided from your 2014 $50 UMHC registration contribution to Hockey with Heart. Each of you personally contributed to making a difference in the lives of a needy family at Christmas. Thanks to each of you for your financial contribution towards this. Last Friday we arranged a Christmas dinner for 50 youth at the 360 Kids Home Base. They were thrilled with the outstanding Village Grocer dinner and just plain thrilled that they mattered, because just making these kids matter can give them hope and hope can turn lives around. We are proud to be a partner with 360 Kids and their Every Kid Matters philosophy.

Thanks to all of the members of the UMHC and so many others in our community who have supported Hockey with Heart in making a difference in our community.
