Hi folks! You will notice that some heavy work is happening on the North side of 16th Avenue between Kennedy Road and Warden. I don’t recall if it’s a water main or the sewer, but they are busy rectifying a failure of the system.

The construction on 16th Avenue will soon be situated on the front landscaped part of our store in order to work on the failure. I have been assured that both entrances to our site will be un-affected, and that the traffic flow along 16th will be impacted only during off-hours, meaning that rush hour(s) will have two functioning lanes. They will beging removing the trees and landscaping in the affected area shortly, and they will be replaced upon completion of the construction.

Construction is expected to take about 8 to 12 weeks.
