8 ounces semi-sweet chocolate

1/3 cup whipping cream

3 tablespoons brandy or amaretto almond liqueur (optional). Melt the chocolate and whipping cream in the microwave on medium heat for 2 to 3 minutes or in a saucepan on the stove at medium-low heat. Blend until smooth.

Stir in the brandy or amaretto. If you do not want to use liqueur, just use an extra 3 tablespoons of the cream.

Transfer the mixture to a fondue pot and keep warm.
