Makes 18 Cookies

Ingredients:
2 cups flour
1 1/2 teaspoons cornstarch
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup butter, room temperature
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated white sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 – 2 cups chocolate chips

Method:
Preheat oven to 350° F.
Lightly grease 2 cookie sheets with butter. Set aside.
Combine flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl. Stir
and set aside.
In a large bowl, combine butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar by hand
or electric mixer until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla and mix well.
Stir in the flour mixture and mix until combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.

Using a 1/4 cup measuring cup, place 6 portions of cookie dough on each
cookie sheet. Lightly press the dough down with the back of a greased
spoon. Place one cookie sheet in the oven and chill the other sheet
while baking the first batch. Bake for 12 minutes for a soft chewy cookie.
let cool on the cookie sheet for 5-10 minutes.

Notes:
-For really chewy, golden cookies, chill dough for 24-36 hours before baking.
-For really Jumbo Cookies use a 1/2 cup measuring cup. Makes 6-7 cookies.
