As a payment we accept cash, interac and traveler’s cheques.


•Are there any guarantees that come along with my purchases?

Your shopping experience at the Village Grocer is very important to us. We want all of our visitors to leave satisfied and with a smile. If at any time you feel that a purchase you’ve made has not met your expectations, then we strongly urge you to contact us regarding the matter. As a solution we will offer a store credit in the amount of the purchase, a refund or a replacement.


•How do I place my orders?

If you would like to place an order with us just stop into our store, e-mail us or call (905) 940-0655.


•When placing an order, how much notice do I give?

Our kitchen staff is always eager and ready to take orders for catering. There is no hard and fast rule about the amount of notice we require, however the more notice the better. We do have items that are made on a weekly basis, in which case the orders can be made one week in advance.


•Do we make gift hampers?

Yes we do! All year round we will take orders for gift hampers. We can customize them for you or we will make one that will include some specialty items such as chocolate, coffee, crackers, cheese, candies, fruit and some wine and/or spirits if dropped off to us. At Christmas we have several different sizes on display, throughout the store, for you to choose from.

We charge a flat fee of $10 for assembly, including the wrap and an elegant bow, irrespective of size.


•Do we deliver?

We do not have a home delivery service available at our store, however if you find that you are incapable of getting yourself to our store we will make arrangements to bring your groceries to you. With enough notice we will do our best to accommodate your situation.


•What are our hours of operation?

Monday 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Tuesday 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Wednesday 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Thursday 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Friday 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Saturday 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Sunday 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

We are closed all statutory holidays
